Restaurant SPEISESAAL in der Bundeskunsthalle in Bonn

Really incredibly friendly and fast working staff. We were there with 14 people after a visit to the museum and the staff already impressed us with the friendly welcome and the quickly brought drinks. When the food came and was really very good (clear recommendation for the wild boar ragout as long as it was offered, but burgers and quiche were also very successful) it was already clear that we would return the next time we visit the Museum Mile. The whole thing was surpassed again by a little free ice cream for the children and a free look-up of the really convincing ragout mentioned. A couple of absolutely successful hours in the dining room restaurant and a big compliment to the great hospitality that we received. Many Thanks!

It's such a shame about this beautiful place. Space and space offer a lot of potential, which the service wrecks again through self-righteous lust.

This was okay, but not more than that. Had coffee, cake and fries. The staff seems a bit unfriendly but they were aware.

A nice drink (we payed) but we're not allowed to use the toilet, very strange for a restaurant.

Very expensive for what you get. The location is great but the staff isn't friendly. We asked about the vegetarian dishes, they had two. We ordered both, but when our plate arrived, one of them contained ... meat. When we asked the staff about it, they just said they couldn't do anything about it and went away instead of fixing it. The other vegetarian dish was ok, but small and not worth the price.

Unfortunately the food was a huge disappointment, only lukewarm, small portions and none of the four different meals was really tasty! It's a pity! The service was also not good, although at 7:00 p.m. it was only closed, the glasses (mine was still half full !!) were cleared at 6:40 p.m. and the flower vases too! Not cozy at all! We ate there a lot better on our last visit and therefore went there again, but that was definitely the last time! Too bad, because it should actually be a nice end to a nice day !!

Really aereglich, the restaurant looked good from the outside and offers after a visit to the museum yes to fine dining. Unfortunately, we caught the unfriendly senior waiter who came with really nasty rules and instructions (for example, everyone has to sit when making an order, which is really grotesque for a group of 3 toddlers). Service was then not his strength (cutlery, glasses and napkins we worried ourselves at the bar), I would call the very small Viennese schnitzel rather than Viennese Nuggets. You have to uphold the colleagues that you have tried to compensate the stubborn waiter something. Overall, too expensive and just embarrassing compared to our visit we actually wanted something to offer.

A real disappointment. The food is super expensive and tastes like nothing. We had the Persian appetizer plate and soup. How can you taste a tomato and cucumber salad for nothing ????

When we wanted to order food at 5:30 pm we were offered a soup as the kitchen closed at 6:00 pm. Also, the advice to read the website please ri c h t i g. This was the second experience of its kind - the last time the same with the day ticket until 15:00. Since we like to complete the museum day with a restaurant visit, we will go somewhere else soon!

Service could be better

Creative food at good prices. Attractive ambience. There are suitable menus for the exhibitions in the Bundeskunsthalle. Nice and attentive staff. A drawback is the acoustics, which feels a bit like a train station.

Restaurant great, breakfast was delicious and usually definitely to be recommended. Probably had a bad day and the staff was totally overwhelmed (and probably understaffed). Eggs were cold. Every meal came at a different time. Orders were forgotten. Billing took forever ...

The restaurant in a museum is just perfect. Exceptional menu, extremely fresh ingredients, perfect taste and presentation. The service was very friendly and accommodating although the restaurant was well attended. It's worth a visit!!
